Stunt Kites

Stunt kites-Stunt or sport kites are the most technically challenging and entertaining of all kites in our opinion.  They are fun for beginners, approximately 9+ years and it only takes a few minutes to master the basic turns, circles, and flight.  The learning curve is never ending with these kites and they provide entertainment for years for more physically active flyers.

Quad line kites

A step up from the traditional stunt kite is the quad.  These kites, even more technical, are most often used in competitions and choreographed ballet team exhibitions.

Bowed and dihedral kites

Dihedral kites are similar to flat kites.  The spreaders “sticks” on dihedrals are adjustable and allow the kites to be flown in a wider wind range.  The more wind you have, the more you bow the kite.  Rokkakus and Premier’s squid are good examples of dihedrals we keep in stock.

Cellular and box kites

A box kite is the simplest type of cellular kite.  Cellular kites typically take a bit more wind then traditional deltas or diamonds.  They are by far the most visually stimulating single line kites.  Many people view them as art and buy cellular’s only to display.

Sleds and parafoils

These kites have no spars and are the easiest to transport.  They are typically rectangular and come in numerous sizes and prints.  We keep all types of parafoils and sleds from 1 sq ft to 81 sq ft in stock.  The larger sleds, called “lifters” are used to hold up the countless types of “line laundry” we stock.
